Komal Chavan is currently Medical Director, Chavan Maternity and Nursing Home, Andheri (West), Mumbai. She is Senior Consultant and DNB Teacher, V N Desai Hospital, Santacruz and Honorary Professor, HBT Medical College and Dr R N Cooper Municipal General Hospital, Juhu, Mumbai.
Dr Chavan is presently Chairperson, FOGSI Medical Disorders in Pregnancy Committee (2019-2021), and member of Managing Committee, MOGS & AFG and Joint Secretary of ISOPARB(Mumbai Chapter). She has been honored with prizes such as Dr DK Tank Prize (2016 and 2019), Dr RD Pandit Prize (2019), Dr ShraddhaUpasani Prize (2017) and SMART Conference Prize (2017).
